Four People Found Dead in Kathmandu, Including Three from the Same Family

Kathmandu: A gruesome incident occurred last night in Gairigaon, Tinkune, Kathmandu, where four individuals were discovered dead, and it has been revealed that three of them were from the same family.

The victims have been identified as Kumar Bhujel, 56, originally from Dolakha and currently employed as a gatekeeper at the Dibya Sawmill; his wife Ambika Bhujel, 52; Kumar's mother, Shubhadra Bhujel, 76; and Nabin Rai, 20, originally from Belbari in Morang. The bodies were found to have injuries from sharp weapons, including on different parts of their bodies, including the head.

Senior Superintendent of Police Dineshraj Mainali, the spokesperson of Kathmandu Valley Police Office, confirmed these details. The bodies have been transported to the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajganj for post-mortem examinations. An ongoing investigation into the incident is being conducted by the authorities.

The Dibya Sawmill is owned and operated by Balkrishna Siwakoti, a resident of Kalinchok Rural Municipality-8, Dolakha, who currently resides in Guashala, Kathmandu. The motive and circumstances surrounding this tragic incident are yet to be determined.
